Limera1n has just hit the web, courtesy of geohot, who’s back. All you need to know about the jailbreak process can be found in the video below and word’s out that the software is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G, iPad, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G.

4.0 firmware and 4.1 are supported, but we must mention that limera1n is unpatchable. For now, this is the Windows version of the jailbreak and the ones for Mac is Linux are being prepped for launch, too. Before you rush into things, check out the vid above for details, in order not to screw  up.

Also, this is beta software, so here are the bugs: the 3GS new bootroom is broken, but there’s a fix coming. In addition to that some users will need to restart their devices to get the Cydia icon to show up after the install. No unlock for the latest baseband is available, so use a legit SIM card, updating to 4.1 firmware.
