This is the second time this week that Moto Defy entered our radar, once with the news that it’ll receive Froyo very late (Q2 2011) and now with a launch date for Australia: November 30th. The handset will debut on the continent via Telstra for AU$49, on a 2 year contract. You can also get it for AU$600, if you avoid the commitment.

The carrier has exclusivity on the Android 2.1 handset for half a year, so this means that until May 30 only Telstra will provide this phone. Reasons to get the Defy? Gorilla Glass protected touchscreen, a 5MP camera, HSPA, WiFi, GPS, a microSD card slot and the good old MOTOBLUR UI. Social networking features are also included.
