It appears that Motorola and Lenovo have scheduled a joint launch event, taking place on November 8th, in Guanzhou, China. The event will mark the local unveiling of the Motorola Moto M, as well as the Lenovo P2, as confirmed by the teasers below.
The Lenovo P2 was on showcase at IFA 2016, so it’s a familiar face. It was a bit of a battery phone, thanks to a 5100 mAh battery and it also came with a 5.5 inch Full HD screen, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a 13 megapixel back camera. The screen on board is a bright Super AMOLED and below it we find a Home button with fingerprint scanner included.
The other newcomer hasn’t been officially unveiled yet and the Moto M only leaked under the codename Kung-Fu, with a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 16 megapixel main camera. It also has an 8 MP front shooter and it’s known under the codename XT1662 among others. It runs Android Marshmallow and has a 3000 mAh battery. It’s expected to cost around $400, maybe less.
