Two major icons of today’s society have recently met in the UK: Queen Elizabeth II and the iconic brand RIM, the definition of corporate handsets. Her Royal Majesty paid a visit to the BlackBerry maker’s factory in Waterloo and received a white BlackBerry Bold 9700.

We also have to mention that said BlackBerry displayed an image of a girl giving the Queen flowers… cute, right? We wonder if Queen Elizabeth II is a fan of BlackBerry handsets and why she chose this factory and not some other phone maker’s unit. This is sort of like “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, in some way, only the visitor is a tad more famous than the factory.
