REDMAGIC has confirmed that the REDMAGIC 12 Pro+ will be unveiled in October 2026. The gaming-phone maker has not set a specific launch date, but says the new flagship will emphasize sustained performance under heavy workloads, cooling for extended sessions and a thinner, easier-to-handle body.
The 12 Pro+ will also continue REDMAGIC’s under-display selfie camera strategy, using what the company describes as its ninth-generation implementation. The approach keeps the display free of a punch hole or notch, a design choice REDMAGIC has maintained across several gaming-focused models.
Key hardware details have yet to be officially announced. Pre-launch reports have pointed to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 and a cooling system combining liquid cooling with an active fan, but REDMAGIC has not confirmed either specification.

The REDMAGIC 11S Pro provides an indication of the hardware baseline the successor will need to exceed. That model already combines a high-refresh-rate AMOLED panel with flagship silicon and active cooling:
- 6.85-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate
- Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor
- Liquid cooling paired with an active fan
- Prime CPU cores clocked up to 4.74GHz on the referenced configuration

REDMAGIC has not detailed the 12 Pro+ battery, display, memory configurations, cameras, pricing or international rollout. Its full October announcement will determine whether the company can retain that level of thermal hardware while delivering the promised slimmer chassis.
