Remember the GPS issues on the Samsung Galaxy S? It appears they have been fixed at least on the Captivate version of the phone, that received a GPS Restore app. Samsung Mobile has been tweeting about this software, that’s been known to wipe the GPS subsystem and return it to the factory default settings.

At this moment, the GPS restore is compatible with the Samsung Captivate and Vibrant models, while the Epic 4G, Mesmerize and Fascinate versions are still waiting for it. You can find it in the Market, if you look it up.
