Samsung’s first Bada OS phone, Wave S8500 has just gone official in Germany, where it’ll be sold for EUR 429 ($545) unlocked. The handset is also available on pre-order in Italy, for EUR 399 ($506). The device features a Super AMOLED touchscreen display, with a 3.3 inch diagonal and a 480 x 800 pixel resolution.

It seems that there will be a special show in Germany, with the occasion of the handset’s launch, held on May 30 King Kamehameha Beach Club. Artists like Jennifer Braun, Fadi Maalouf, Spirit of Soul will perform, but back to Samsung Wave S8500, we learn that the smartphone features a 1GHz CPU, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, a 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording and WiFi 802.11n.

FM radio is also on board, accompanied by A-GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card slot and out of the box DivX/Xvid support.
