US Cellular has just released a new LG handset, bearing the name of Wine UX280, a mid-level phone with some entry-level aspects. You can buy the device right now in silver or red, with a 2 year contract for $29.95 (after a $50 mail in rebate), or for $179.95 without commitment.
LG Wine packs a GPS, Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera, a 240 x 320 pixels internal TFT display and hearing aid compatibility. Its battery lasts about 4 hours in talk mode and 7 days in standby mode. You can buy LG’s new clamshell online or from US Cellular’s retail stores.
