We’ve seen Nvidia Tegra in action on the wonderful ZuneHD player, so we know what it can do… We wonder if the chipset will be fully harnessed by Windows Mobile 7 or simply powered by the processor, although we’ve got some pretty interesting information on this matter, via a Linkedin profile.

Sandeep Shinde’s profile mentions that he is currently working as a member of Windows Mobile software development team at NVIDIA, handling the design and development of Tegra on Windows platforms, with Windows Mobile 7 included. What does this tell you? Windows Mobile 7 and Tegra equals top performance.

The folks of PDA.pl read even further into the profile and claim that Windows CE, ZuneHD and Windows Mobile 7 have a common base and that the new OS is getting close to launch time.
