Xiaomi is preparing to expand its Xring O3 processor lineup with the Pad 9 Pro Max, a flagship tablet scheduled for a September 7 presentation in China. The chip is also used in the Xiaomi 18 Fold, placing the new slate among the company’s highest-end devices.
The Pad 9 Pro Max has a 13.3-inch IPS LCD with a 3408 x 2272-pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness rated at 1,000 nits. Xiaomi will also offer a Soft-Light display version, positioned as an alternative to Huawei’s PaperMatte treatment.
Its metal unibody chassis measures 5.67mm thick and weighs 645g. The tablet supports a stylus and will be sold in burgundy, black and silver finishes. Audio is handled by an eight-speaker system.
Xiaomi lists a 12,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging, alongside a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera. Memory configurations reach 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, with 8GB and 12GB RAM options also expected.
Pricing is reported to start at around €615 in China. Xiaomi has not confirmed whether or when the Pad 9 Pro Max will reach European or other international markets.
