Xiaomi has launched the Skynomad N70 in China, a mid-to-large extended-range electric SUV that claims up to 505 km of all-electric range on the CLTC cycle. Total driving range exceeds 1,350 km when its 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline range extender is used as a generator.
The lineup starts with the Skynomad N70 Pro at 209,900 yuan. It uses a 210 kW front electric motor and a 52 kWh LFP battery, delivering a claimed 351 km of CLTC electric range. The 239,900-yuan N70 Max adds dual-motor all-wheel drive with 310 kW of output and a 76 kWh ternary battery. Xiaomi rates that version for 505 km of electric range and says a 15-minute fast charge can add up to 310 km of range.
The N70 is Xiaomi’s second automobile and its first EREV SUV. It is built on the Kunlun architecture and uses a flat-floor cabin with a five-rail system intended to support different interior layouts. The rear seats can be moved to provide up to 1,410 mm of legroom, while cargo capacity is rated at 1,203 liters in the standard layout and up to 2,425 liters with the seats folded.
Its cabin technology includes a 16.1-inch 3K central display, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, a 20-inch head-up display and a 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen. The infotainment system runs HyperOS on Qualcomm’s third-generation Snapdragon 8 platform. Xiaomi has also fitted a 9-liter compressor refrigerator that can cool or heat its contents.

Both versions ship with Xiaomi HAD driver-assistance hardware powered by an NVIDIA Thor-U processor. The sensor suite includes a front LiDAR unit, 4D millimeter-wave radar and 11 HD cameras. Xiaomi lists automated lane changes, driving-related voice commands and navigation to a parking space, including in underground garages, among the announced functions, and says the ADAS software will be provided at no additional charge for the vehicle’s lifetime.
Initial Skynomad N70 deliveries are scheduled for October through November 2026 in China. Xiaomi will offer six finishes: Distant Mountain Green, Butterfly Valley Blue, Cool Khaki, Volcanic Gray, Pearl White and Obsidian Black. International launch plans have not been detailed.
