RIM has recently offered us a sneak peak on their newest OS, BlackBerry 6, shown in action in the video below. The platform will be released this summer and provides a great touch experience for all of the BB fans. There’s a new and fluid interface included, plus the applications and features demoed below:

As you can see, the Home screen has been redesigned, universal search is now available and so are pop-up menus that are context-sensitive. The BlackBerry Browser has been revamped and now it’s based on WebKit. Social Feeds is an application you’ll love on BB 6, as it integrates news and social networks into a single menu.

A big plus is the easiness of use, since you can add a contact on the Home Screen, for example, for quicker access.
