The Talk Premium is a handset for elderly people and a very simple piece of equipment, that’s only able to call people, text and be used as an alarm clock. Emporia’s handset looks very retro and chunky and it even packs a little LED torch light, plus a bunch of large buttons and easy to see screen.

The phone measures 123 x 58 x 17mm, a big screen with orange colouring (the most visible colour for people with eye defects), an extra loud loudspeaker and side buttons for menus. Talk Premium’s battery life is quite long, since it’s able to last about 180 hours in standby mode.

Going for £104.99, the device is hearing aid compatible and it would make a perfect gift for your grandparents this Christmas. There’s also a small preview of it after the break, if you’re interested:
