Epson will bring four 4K laser projectors to its European home-cinema range in September 2026. The EH-LS5000, EH-LS6000, EH-LS7000 and EH-LS7500 use AI-based image processing, offer between 2,500 and 3,600 lumens of brightness, and are rated for images up to 500 inches.
- EH-LS5000: 2,500 lumens.
- EH-LS6000: 3,400 lumens.
- EH-LS7000: 3,600 lumens, with ISF-certified image optimization.
- EH-LS7500: 3,500 lumens, ISF-certified image optimization, and a short-throw design positioned by Epson as the first professional 4K short-throw projector in this home-focused family.
All four models combine a laser light source with 3LCD technology and support HDR10 and HLG. Epson says its LD Boost technology can increase brightness by up to 12% without raising operating noise; the projectors are specified at 22 dB to 25 dB.
The company’s Epson AI Imaging system is based on the MT9681 platform. It analyzes scenes and dynamically adjusts color, contrast and sharpness, including through face detection. The processing package also includes upscaling for lower-resolution content, along with dedicated motion and contrast processing.
Matter support is another addition, allowing the projectors to join compatible smart-home ecosystems. The move further separates the EH-LS line from Epson’s more portable lifestyle projector range, putting the emphasis on fixed home-cinema installations, high brightness and very large projected images.
Epson plans to sell the new range in Europe with a five-year warranty. European pricing has not yet been announced, and the company has not confirmed availability for other regions.
