Hisense has demonstrated its XR10 flagship laser projector at IFA 2026, pitching a 65- to 300-inch image range that puts it firmly in ultra-large home-cinema territory. A roughly 200-inch projection was shown at the company’s booth, illustrating the scale the projector is designed to reach.
The XR10 uses Hisense’s Pure Triple Colour Laser system, with separate red, green and blue laser sources, alongside the company’s LPU 3.0 Digital Laser Engine. Hisense rates it at 6,000 ANSI lumens and claims 118% coverage of the BT.2020 color space.
Its HDR and cinema feature set includes IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG. European specifications list a Devialet-tuned 2.1-channel audio system with DTS Virtual:X and DTS:X support. Dolby Atmos should not be assumed to be built into the projector; the available European documentation identifies DTS formats instead.
Installation flexibility is a major part of the package. The XR10 has an approximately 2.3x optical zoom, a 0.84–2.0:1 throw ratio and hardware lens shift. Autofocus, automatic alignment tools, cameras and time-of-flight sensors are designed to assess the projection surface, while a seven-step physical iris can adjust contrast according to the scene and room conditions.
For gaming, the projector can reach up to 240Hz at resolutions below 4K, while 4K output is limited to 60Hz. Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports with Auto Low Latency Mode, one HDMI 2.0 port, Wi-Fi 7 and the VIDAA U9 platform. Although a 4.8ms latency figure was mentioned during the demonstration, the European documentation specifies Game Mode input lag of no more than 20ms.
Hisense also showed the more portable M2 Pro in its laser projector range. That model supports 65- to 200-inch images, a 1.0–1.3 optical zoom and an RGB triple-laser light source. The XR10 sits at the opposite end of the lineup: it can be transported in its supplied case, but its 300-inch ceiling makes a dedicated large-screen setup its more natural destination. Pricing, release timing and market availability were not provided in the available information.
