Huawei is making another push into the US market, after a name and brand campaign from a few years ago that didn’t quite pay off. Now they have deals in place with big carriers like AT&T and Verizon, to push models like the Mate 10 ones locally.

This move has been long time coming, with Huawei launching very solid midrange high end smartphones, that were bound to attract the Western public’s attention. Reviews have been stellar, prices are good and the performance is also on par with the biggies. Even Samsung’s DeX has found a rival with a similar system from Huawei, one that doesn’t even need a dock for the Mate 10 Pro.

ZTE already had a pretty good presence in the States, showing that a Chinese company can make it big in USA. The first two phones from Huawei that will hit USA next year are the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, expected on AT&T and Verizon. CES 2018 may bring a special showcasing, perhaps with extras, like maybe the inclusion of Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or some accessories like the 360 VR Camera from Huawei.

Huawei has tried to enter the US market before, but not with the aid of carriers till now. No idea what the prices will be, but we expect serious subsidies.
