Kodak has just unveiled the very cool Zi8 pocket camcorder, that brings the company one step closer to releasing a mobile phone, since this device packs quite a bunch of features.

Zi8 comes with support for 1080p recording, face tracking, image stabilization, an SD card slot and a 2.5 inch LCD display. There’s also support for YouTube upload on the specs list, plus Facebook, so all we need is 3G connectivity and we’re all set to welcome the Kodak Phone.

Expect this camcorder to hit the market in September for $180 or less and we remind you that Motorola previously worked with Kodak on some handsets, cameraphones of course, so they have the expertise to create their own phone.
