Created by Michal Bonikowski and Rafal Pilat, the following Nokia concept phone uses some elements from the HTC smartphone design and surprisingly runs Windows Phone 7. Since Android 2.3 just got ported on Nokia N900, we wouldn’t be surprised to also see WP7 on a future N Series device. For now, let’s have a look at this concept.

We’re definitely not digging Symbian^3 at this point and MeeGo is not prepared for launch yet, so Android and WP7 seem like viable alternatives. We’ve seen posters of Nokia phones running Android in London and speculations say that Stephen Elop, former Microsoft official, now Nokia’s CEO might bring the two companies closer.

There’s a long way till the Finns give up on Symbian, but right now we can only admire this concept, that comes with a large touchscreen display, an 8 megapixel camera and a pretty thick case, made of magnesium alloy.
