Samsung has registered two serious leaks, of two upcoming midrangers. I’m talking about the Samsung Galaxy Mega On and Grand On, that are detailed below. The first is a phablet with midrange specs and the second is your average 5 incher that should have a good price.
Galaxy Mega On is also codenamed SM-G600 and comes with a 5.5 inch 72pp display, plus a 13 megapixel back camera and a 5 MP selfie shooter. Inside we find the quad core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, clocked at 1.2 GHz, accompanied by 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. There’s also a 3000 mAh battery here. The phablet measures 8.2 mm in thickness and weighs 145 grams, plus it runs Android 5.1 Lollipop from day one.
Grand On brings a 5 inch 720p screen, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. It has a 2600 mAh battery, an 8 megapixel back camera and a front 5 MP shooter. Its CPU is an Exynos 3475, clocked at 1.3 GHz and the OS is Android 5.1 Lollipop. The handset measures 8.5 mm in thickness and weighs 140 grams. It’s not very clear what selling points these models will have.
