Messaging phones are all the rage now, either in the pockets of teen users or in the hands of adults, as we’ve all become texting fans, specially via IM. The perfect device for maintaining this hobby is the new Samsung Gravity, that has been just announced and which will hit T-Mobile exclusively.

The device features a QWERTY keyboard and a 12 key alphanumeric one, plus a 1.3 megapixel camera, 60MB of internal memory and quite a small display. However, its main draw is the support for multiple IM clients (AOL, ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger and MSN), which will be used in conjunction with the keyboard of the handset.

Samsung Gravity offers easy access to POP3 email (Gmail), supports Bluetooth wireless, 4GB microSD cards, advanced speech recognition and it includes a speakerphone and a battery that lasts up to 6 hours in talk mode or 300 hours in standby mode.

The new Samsung handset comes with a personal organizer and a music and video player, all available for $49.99, after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a 2 year contract.
